Saturday, August 13: “Undivided Part VI”

Psalm 108: 12, 13: “Oh give us help against the adversary, for deliverance by man is vain. Through God we will do valiantly, and it is He Who will tread down our adversaries.”

Deliverance by a man–one man–is indeed vain, for deliverance is the work of the Holy Spirit changing people’s hearts, not just changing circumstances. But when the “we”--God’s united people–get involved, then He treads down the adversaries and all nations bow down before Him (vv. 7-9). This is our mission: Remain undivided in Christ, and fill the earth with His Kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
