Saturday, October 19: “He Has Shepherded You”

Acts 28: 30, 31:“[Paul] stayed two full years in his own rented quarters and was welcoming all who came to him, preaching the Kingdom of God and teaching concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all openness, unhindered.”

After years of living in peril, danger, labor, hardship, shipwrecks, beatings, and imprisonment in stank, primitive facilities, just to share the Word of God with whomever he could, St. Paul finally ends up in the place that many had warned him against, but where God directed him–and found his ministry there open and unhindered. Not only that, after being acquitted in his first Roman trial, He served the Lord as a free man five more years before his final martyrdom. All because he learned to listen and follow whenever the Lord spoke.
