Luke 18: 43:“Immediately he regained his sight, and began following Him, glorifying God; and when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God.” Another expression of the Law of Christ is to enter vicariously into the joy or blessing of another. “Rejoice with those who rejoice” (Romans 12: 15). The people following Jesus probably didn’t even know this blind man; they didn’t pass through Jericho often. Yet they rejoiced with him. This is another element of the Christian character which is a part of the life of the world to come.
