“Strengthened with Power”

Ephesians 3: 16b-17a, 19b: “… to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts … that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.” Wow! Filled up to all the fullness of God! Why is it God’s purpose to equip us with such awesome gifts? Because we, the Church, are to bring Him glory (v. 21), before creatures earthly and heavenly, (v. 10) and that takes a lot of equipping. And, of course, because He loves us with a love that surpasses knowledge. Now that’s motivation!
