Sunday, August 25: “Root of Worthiness”

Revelation 4: 11: “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”

When Darwin and his followers claim that alternate theories concerning the formation and evolution of the universe are not in conflict with Christian theology, it is obvious they never considered these words from the twenty-four elders around God’s throne. God is worthy because, in His will, He created all things. Take that away and His worthiness is diminished, which is why that can’t be taken away. God is the creator of all things, so we worship Him as worthy; end of story!
