Sunday, February 23: “A Theocracy for Eternity”

Psalm 145: 13: “Your Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations.”

The Kingdom of God is a Theocracy. It is forever, and it will be universal. At present, many people do not acknowledge or accept His reign, but He does not force them to receive it. In His kingdom, this is a matter of free will, not force. So, if not force, what is His plan to bring things to the promised universality? “[Your godly ones] shall speak of the glory of Your Kingdom and talk of Your power; to make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts and the glory of the majesty of Your Kingdom.” (vv. 11, 12) That’s His plan. And in case you didn’t know, “His godly ones” includes us.
