Sunday, March 17: “Trust in the Lord’s Doing”
Psalm 118: 22, 23: “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone. This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.”
Everyone goes through rejection. If they rejected Jesus, the Cornerstone laid by God Himself (Isaiah 28: 16), they’ll reject you. And rejection is no fun. What we must remember is, Christ’s rejection was not the devil’s handiwork, but the Lord’s doing; a part of His plan of salvation. Perhaps it’s the same with your rejection; it’s part of God’s plan to keep you on His path for your life. This requires trust in God, not in man. (vv. 9, 10). Men will fail you, God will not. Period.
