Thursday, December 12: “Behold My Messenger, Day V”

2 Thessalonians 2: 5: “Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things?”

How great a messenger is St. Paul! Although only able to remain in Thessalonica for three weeks (Acts 17: 10), he planted a Church there that valiantly withstood much opposition, from inside and outside. And the message that he left with the Body of Christ in his epistles stands strong after two millennia.
