Wednesday, August 10: “Undivided Part III”
Acts 6: 1, 2a: “At this time while the disciples were increasing in numbers a complaint arose on the part of the Hellenistic Jews against the native Hebrews, because their widows were being overlooked in the daily serving of food. So the twelve summoned the congregation of the disciples ....”
It’s just a fact that even honest people make honest mistakes, which can sometimes cause harm to others. When it happens we can (a) Remain silent and seeth inwardly for eternity, (b) complain loudly, and turn it into a sad case of us against them, or (c) work together for a solution. The apostles implemented Option C, and it led to the elimination of the problem, and the strengthening of the Church. Let’s try that one!
