Wednesday, December 11: “Behold My Messenger, Day IV”

John 8: 10, 11: “Jesus said to her, ‘Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?’ She said, ‘No one, Lord.’ And Jesus said, ‘I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more.’”

Jesus Christ is the greatest messenger of all, proclaiming through life and words the nature and will of God the Father. How great is His message to this adulterous woman! First, lack of condemnation; then, a reminder of the path of true life, which is to walk in the way God has revealed. Let all who claim to be God’s messengers today be sure to share this word in its entirety—and in its proper order. Compassion before correction.
