“Shining Light”

2 Corinthians 4: 6: “For God, who said, ‘Light shall shine out of darkness’ is the One Who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge if the glory of God in the face of Christ.” Today’s Feast of the Transfiguration comes to us yearly to make sure we remember the true source of light for our hearts. Many philosophies and religions out there claim deeper illumination, but it is the God Who started it all and became incarnate to reveal Himself in Christ Who has the first word … the final word … the only word.
