“The Culture of the Church”

Ephesians 6: 1, 4: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right … and fathers, do not provoke your children to anger.” If you want to know the culture of the Church, read Ephesians. The culture of the Church is love, expressed in a model of familial respect. Transcending age, economic, and ethnic distinctions, God’s love in us reaches out to all, recognizing the dignity of each of us as a precious creation of the one God, our Father, in Whom we all have our life. The family and the Church go hand in hand, the family being the expression of the Church and the Church being the expression of the family.
