“Equipped with His Presence”

Matthew 28: 20: “And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Today is one of the seven highest days in the Church year, the Feast of Ascension, which marks the return of Jesus Christ to heaven. And while Matthew doesn’t cover the literal Ascension (Mark, Paul, and notably Luke do), he focuses on the equally important other side: You might not see Jesus here right now, but He’s here—always.
