“Community Lock-in”

Romans 16: 16: “Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.” As St. Paul closes his letter to the Church at Rome, he sends personal greetings to twenty-two of its members and four of its households—and he had never even been to Rome, or as much as met any of them through social media! Christianity is a most communal religion, a fact that no mere virus can be allowed to change. Weren’t the first century Christians facing the Nero Virus? It didn’t stop them.
