Psalm 34: 12-14: “Who is the man who desires life and loves length of days that He may see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”
How does one seek and pursue peace? Do not inquire of the United Nations; although they have Isaiah 2: 4 posted on their walls, man’s trademark contention bred in greed is branded in their hearts. Peace is a fruit of goodwill toward one’s fellow man, expressed in both word and deed. That’s the peace the Christmas angels sang about; is the world even close to that?
