“Get the Big Picture”

Romans 11: 28: “From the standpoint of the Gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers.” When we evaluate the life and ministry of others only from the perspective of how it affects or compares with our lives or ministry or situation, we are bound to get it wrong. It is a little-recognized fact that God’s perspective goes way beyond our own worlds, and takes into consideration things of whose existence we are totally unaware. That’s why it’s safest to heed the words of Jesus, “Judge not!” (Matthew 7: 1)
