“Why Wait?”

Psalm 105: 3b-4: “Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad. Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face continually.” Why should the seeker of God rejoice as much as the one who has already found the joy of His presence (Psalm 16: 11)? Because there is joy in the journey as well as in the destination; and since it is a life-long search, done continually, the life spent in the pursuit of God is a life of ultimate fulfillment.
