“Big Life”

Acts 13: 22: “… He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will do all My will.’” In yesterday’s Gospel we saw one of the big mistakes of David, and in tomorrow’s Old Testament we will see it again. But against all this stands the word of the Lord, “A man after My own heart.” David lived big, with big successes and big mistakes. But it seems the Lord paid more attention to the former than to the latter … Perhaps we can learn something from that.
