“One Man”

Genesis 6: 6-8: “The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. And the Lord said, ‘I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them.’ But Noah found favor in the eyes of God.” Wow, did you see that? God was totally ready to destroy all life on earth. He was sorry and grieved - He regretted that He had ever made man. What changed His mind? One man. One man. Abraham changed God’s mind about two cities, Sodom and Gomorrah; Noah changed God’s mind about the whole world. One man. Amazing what a little righteousness can do! (v. 9)
