“Purity of Sacrament” - Feast of Corpus Christi

Here’s something to think about on the Feast of Corpus Christi. After the fall, man was sent out of Eden so he could not “reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” Now look what Jesus gave us access to when He said “he who eats My flesh and drinks My blood will live forever.” Every time we partake of the Eucharist, we get an infusion of His life. But it’s not so much that we consume Him as He consumes us. He increases and we decrease, a “dagdag-bawas” that is good.
