“Snowball Effect”

Matthew 27: 20, 22: “But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the multitudes to ask for Barabbas, and to put Jesus to death … Pilate said to them, ‘Then what shall I do with Jesus Who is called Christ?’ They all said, ‘Let Him be crucified!” Here’s what happens when we stop listening to the true judge. The deception of wrong judgment started with one man, the high priest. It spread from him to the whole council (Matthew 27: 1), now we see it fill the people, and then the heart of Pilate.
