“Mistaken Analysis IV: Will the Sequels Ever Stop?”

Acts 15: 1: “And some men came down from Judea and began teaching the brethren, ‘Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.’” Where did these men spreading their false gospel get their beliefs? If they had simply stopped and analyzed the words of the Author of their faith, Jesus Christ, they would have realized that He had never addressed this issue. In such cases His instruction is clear: Listen to the Holy Spirit (John 16: 12, 13), and get it straight. When we follow His guidance, there is no more mistaken analysis.
