Luke: 20: 38: “Now He is not the God of the dead, but of the living; for all live unto Him.” Who else but Jesus could take a situation where men were trying to trap Him and turn it around into an occasion to proclaim the hope we have in God: eternal life for all! The question is, what quality of life will we experience in eternity – that abundant righteousness, peace, and joy that God has for us, or a continuation of the dissatisfaction and frustration some have now? Only we can answer that question, hopefully or fatalistically.
