“Unteachably Proud”

Psalm 25: 9: “God leads the humble in justice, and He teaches the humble His way.” Good for the humble, what about the prideful? It is difficult for even God to teach them, because they think they know everything already. He must humble them first, then they are ready to learn. And rest assured, God is very good at humbling a prideful person, as we shall see each day in the Daily Office this week.
