“Manifestation Mode”

John 1: 29, 31: “The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, ‘Behold the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world! … in order that He might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing in water.’” As John fixed his eyes on Jesus and proclaimed the great deeds which He was about to perform, the attention of everyone present was directed to the Christ, as well. That’s another thing that worship does, it causes the Lord to be noticed by others, not just ourselves.
