“Reunited”

Jeremiah 31: 31: “Behold, days are coming, declares the Lord, ‘when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.’” The patriarchs, the sons of Israel, could be somewhat competitive and divisive at times, until the famine and Joseph united them. After centuries in the Promised Land they divided again into two distinct (often warring) nations. But this promise of God stands and remains, they will both return to Him under the New Covenant. Our hope is sure; the day will come when all will see that with God, it’s not ‘us and them,’ but ‘we.’
