Acts 18: 3, 4: “And because Paul was of the same trade, he stayed with them and they were working; for by trade they were tent-makers. And he was reasoning in the synagogue every Sabbath and trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.” When Jesus is the Lord of your life, you won’t let circumstances stop you. Finding himself without support, St. Paul went to work and became a weekend warrior. Whether making tents or making converts, he was always working for the Lord. For him, it wasn’t about the glamour of full-time ministry.
