“You Can’t Justify the Just”

Mark 15: 4, 5: “And Pilate was questioning Him again, saying, ‘Do you make no answer? See how many charges they bring against you!’ But Jesus made no further answer; so that Pilate was amazed.” Why do we always feel the need to justify ourselves? If ever anyone had the right to do so, it was Jesus, yet He remained silent. Persistent self-justification extends arguments, heightens conflicts, and delays resolutions, and all for naught; because it’s all in the hands of God anyway. One fine day He will reveal the truth, and all will see you for who you really are. (and vice versa, like it or not)
