“Awesome Deeds”

Psalm 66: 5: “Come and see the works of God, Who is awesome in His deeds toward the sons of men.” What awesome deeds are we talking here? In addition to the obligatory mention of the parting of the Red Sea and the River Jordan (that really was a big deal, never again equaled by any, god or human), there is the preservation through trial and refinement of spirit, the keeping of unruly nations in check, and good old-fashioned answered prayer. Not awesome enough for you? Could you, or anyone else you know, god or human, do better?
