“Advent Lesson #2”

Matthew 21: 13: “And Jesus entered the temple and cast out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those who were selling doves.” The Kingdom of God is not a vehicle for those who suppose that godliness is a means of gain (1 Timothy 6: 6). It is a place for prayer warriors, not robbers (v. 13), and a place where the blind and lame can come for healing (v. 14). So, the Advent question: How near to the Kingdom of God are you?
