“Receive a Kingdom, One Age Early”

Hebrews 12: 27, 28: “This expression, ‘yet once more,’ denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, in order that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a Kingdom which cannot be shaken ...” This is the age of things that can be shaken. The age to come, a.k.a. the Kingdom of God, cannot be shaken. The difference between now and then is we can receive the unshakeable things now, to the degree that we reject the shakable things of this age. In the age to come, all shakable stuff will be gone. But we can live that every day of our lives, starting this minute. Aren’t you tired of shaking, anyway?
