“A Time to Be Afraid … or Not”

Psalm 119: 120: “My flesh trembles for fear of You, and I am afraid of your judgments.” If Jesus Christ had not taken away God’s judgment against mankind on Calvary, as was the case at the time the psalmist penned these words, fear would be a very appropriate response when thinking of the righteous judgment of God. But that was then, this is now. Christ HAS taken away our judgment, paid its price, and we are as a bird freed from its cage. Ever see a frightened free bird?
