“A Time Not to Be Afraid”

Mark 6: 50: “They all saw Him and were frightened. But immediately He spoke with them and said to them, ‘Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid.” At first the disciples were afraid of Jesus walking on the water because they thought He was a ghost. He never said “There’s no such thing as ghosts,” He just said “Do not be afraid.” Are there bad things out there? For sure. Should we fear them? Not on your life. Don’t play games with them, just don’t fear them.
