“Keep It Civil”

Matthew 5: 25a: “Make friends quickly with your opponent at law while you are with him on the way ...” With the pressure cooker so many people are in right now with anxiety over jobs, businesses, schooling—and yes, health—the last thing we need is a chip on our shoulder. Anger, grudges, and disagreements must be set aside, for they are magnified under such circumstances. Friendliness carries the day! It’s part of that light we talked about on Tuesday.
