“God Loves Fruit”

Matthew 7: 17: “Even so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit.” So, what is good fruit? A smooth presentation, clever words, or even a large following? “The fruit of the Spirit is love.” (Galatians 5: 23) It’s what Matthew 6: 33 and 7: 5 and 7: 12 and the whole Sermon on the Mount and the whole Bible are all about. Love is the Narrow Gate (v. 13) and the will of the Father (v. 21), without which no one will see the Lord.
