Galatians 2: 2: “And it was because of a revelation that I went up; and I submitted to them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles, but I did so in private to those who were of reputation, for fear that I might be running, or had run, in vain.” Scrolling through social media (as one tends to do when sitting at home for hours on end) you can find a lot of people spewing forth a lot of private revelations; some ok, some … not ok. But even St. Paul, the great apostle, submitted his revelation to the Church leaders, for he knew that he was not an authority to himself. No one is.
