Day 81: Spiritual Food in Quarantine

“As He stepped ashore, He saw a huge crowd and felt compassion for them.” (Mt 14:14)

A common prelude to Jesus performing miracles like giving sight to the blind and feeding five thousand people is He having compassion on them. It really isn’t just a prelude because it’s constantly in Him. He is love. All the time. A greater miracle than we doing greater things than He did is that same love replacing the apathy in us. I believe that whenever that compassion is present in our hearts, creation cooperates and works out the healing or food multiplication miracle we need. The miracle of love begets other miracles.
