“Unheeded”

Ecclesiastes 9: 16: “Wisdom is better than strength. But the wisdom of the poor man is despised and his words are not heeded.” I have always been very proud of my generation (late boomers). Indoctrinated and raised in the ways of racial hatred and bigotry, growing up we rejected that mantra and embraced an approach of love and harmony. For a couple of decades that was the status quo. What happened, people of today? Why have you turned your backs on wisdom and made us weep?
