Do you know that the cases of deaths due to self-harm constantly increases in the country as the economy struggles? Suicide incidents rose 25.7%, from 2,808 in 2019 to 3,529 in 2020, and the average from 2015 to 2020 was 2,630. The government appealed last year to churches & spiritual leaders for help, but mental health groups and advocates criticized this, saying religious institutions have contributed to the stigma against mental illness, because they believe those who commit suicide go to hell.The world is in despair.
