For there the LORD commanded the blessing⁠ - life forever. (Psalm 133:3)

A recent study revealed that of the top seven factors directly related to longevity, diet and exercise were not the top two. The first and second both had to do with being at peace with our fellowmen.

God ordained the blessing of fullness of life in Zion, a metaphor for the state of being described by David as the good and pleasant dwelling together of brothers in unity and peace. Jesus instituted the Church to be the very embodiment of this and at the same time His instrument through which all men can likewise have that eternal life not merely in terms of quantity but of quality. Let us fulfill our ordained calling then and let Zion begin with us.
