Thursday, November 9: “True Light Prepared”
Psalm 74: 16: “Yours is the day, Yours also the night; You have prepared the light and the sun.”
This psalm’s message is awesome: Even in the ebony night of affliction, defeat, and shattered dreams, God has already prepared a light that shatters the darkness and destroys the destroyer. To Him belongs morning, noon, and night, and He brings about each one in its turn; in creation, and in our lives. He Who created it all has it all in the palm of His hand, and when the cycles of night and day are ended, it will all be a Kingdom of endless True Light (Revelation 21: 5a).
