Wednesday, April 19: “Delightful Delight”
Psalm 119: 16: “I shall delight in Your statutes; I shall not forget Your Word.”
Delight is a wonderful thing. It refers to the simple joys of life. In the humdrum routine of our daily existence, do we overlook these things with which the Lord has colored our world: the smile of a baby, the majesty of a tree, the kind greeting of a friend? Or do we miss them all because we are focused on things that aren’t meant to delight us? Remember, the best way to keep proper focus is to delight in God’s statutes. In them, we find great joy!
