Luke 22: 17: “When [Jesus] had taken a cup and given thanks, He said, ‘Take this and share it among yourselves.’”
Whatever the Lord gives us, whether it be the cup of salvation, the bread of life, or any other of His many gifts, it is not to be hoarded or kept to ourselves. It is to be thankfully received and shared with the other members of Christ’s body. Even our gifts and responsibilities are to be shared with each other. Like with our physical bodies, each member has a part, but we are all interdependent with each other in making the body function.
