“First National Bank of Dad”

2 Corinthians 12: 14: “For children are not responsible to save up for their parents, but parents for their children.” We all know of many cases where fathers send their children to school and get them a good education, for the purpose of sending them abroad after graduation so that he can be supported by them for the rest of his life. Isn’t this again, as we have seen repeatedly this week, oppression of the weak by the strong? Until we in this nation understand and follow this verse, will we not continue to fall deeper and deeper down the ranks of our Southeast Asian neighbors?
