“Hope of the Baffled”

Daniel 2: 47: “The king answered Daniel and said, ‘Surely your God is a God of gods and a Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, since you have been able to reveal this mystery.’” All of us, in our honest, quiet moments, grapple with some serious mysteries, and I’m not just talking about what happened to your missing cartoon sock. What course you should take up, whether or not to forgive the one who really hurt you, or how to deal with an erring child, are just a few of the questions that make us wish we had a Sherlock Holmes at our disposal. And we haven’t even mentioned the biggest mystery of all: What is life? The Lord has the answer to all these questions, He is the answer to them, and that is the hope of the baffled!
