“Peace from Jesus”

John 14: 27: “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” What kind of peace did Jesus have? He know that within twelve hours he would undergo affliction and crucifixion like no one before or since, yet He remained obedient to the Father. This is the source of all peace; Christ’s and our own. The world’s peace, based on favorable circumstances, pales in comparison.
