Tuesday, October 31: “True Light Reflected”
Psalm 34: 5: “They looked to [the Lord] and were radiant, and their faces will never be ashamed.” As St. John wrote in his first epistle, “The True Light is already shining … the one who loves his brother abides in the Light.”
(1 John 2: 8, 10) Truly, living God’s way of love is how we fulfill Jesus’ claim that we “are the light of the world (Matthew 5: 14). We the Church, the seven golden lampstands in whose midst He stands (Revelation 1: 20), reflect the light of His face and radiate it to those yet in darkness. Shine on!
