“Lonely Wanderers”

Psalm 107: 7: “He led them also by a straight way, to go to an inhabited city.” This psalm talks about four groups of people who are missing it with God. Surprisingly, the first is comprised of those who can’t or won’t find an inhabited city. As romanticized as the pioneering loner spirit has become, scripture paints it differently: as a rebellious non-conformist, never satisfied or sated. Food for thought!
