2 Kings 19: 35: “Then it happened that night that the angel of the Lord went out, and struck 185,000 in the camp.” Remember King Sennacherib, the Assyrian bully who in Thursday’s MDR tried to convince the people of Jerusalem to give up their faith? Here’s how it worked out for him. As you can see, he turned out to be nothing but a wolf, who was not to be trusted, and the Lord protected His people when they prayed to Him for deliverance. Believe in God, not the wolf!
