“Denial of Truth”

Luke 24: 11: “And these words appeared to them as nonsense, and they would not believe them.” Another folly of fallen human nature: they would not believe. What did they refuse to accept? The whole story: the rolling stone, the two men, the empty tomb, all were denied by the apostles themselves. What had these women done to deserve this lack of trust and belief? Nothing, the faith of the apostles was just too small. Just as the fallen human nature tends to doubt and disbelieve, the divine nature God has given us always believes.
